Server Updates: 2003
06.11.2003
In a continuing effort to bring you more functionality and better service
Burningbulb is pleased to announce the June rollout of a new billing system.
This new system will improve overall efficiency while smoothing out some
irregularities found in the previous system. The new system is fully automated
and integrated with Burningbulb's client management software. Its functionality
as related to the client is outlined below:
BILLING PROCESS:
The billing process applies to payments made by credit card, money order,
and check. All notification will be done by email unless otherwise specified.
Clients of Burningbulb are solely responsible for submitting payment before
their account due date to avoid associated penalties. Notification of
upcoming due dates or renewals will not be given outside of the following:
1 - Advanced Invoice Notice twenty-one(21) days prior to invoice/renewal
due date
2 - Automatic billing of payments on invoice/renewal date (checks due
on invoice date)
3 - Email receipt on invoice/renewal date
PENALTY PROCESS:
The penalty process starts the day after an invoice due date if payment
has not be received. The penalty process applies to payments made by credit
card, money order, and check. All notification will be done by email only.
The penalty process will begin if payment has not been received for any
reason. This @includes but is not limited to late check/money order submission,
declined credit cards, or expired credit cards. Notification of upcoming
due dates or renewals will not be given outside of the following:
1 - Accounts will be allowed a fourteen(14) day grace period. Daily email
reminders will be sent.
2 - Accounts will then be suspended for seven(7) days. Use of email, website,
and control panel functionality will be suspended.
Daily email reminders will be sent.
3 - Account will be automatically deleted from the Burnignbulb.net servers.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All notifications will be done via email. Emails will be send to the on
and off network email addresses provided by the client during sign up.
It is therefore a requirement that clients keep their account
information current. Account information can be updated by logging
into your site control panel (http://www.yourdomain.com/menu)
Clients are responsible for paying all charges to their account. Burningbulb
will not be held responsible for data loss in the case of an account being
closed. It is the account holder's responsibility to provide current contact
information to Burningbulb.net for billing purposes.
