How do I access my web mail?
To access your Web Mail, please refer to your Welcome emil you received
when you opened your account, as it @includes the specific links to access
your Web Mail.
Here is the general information:
Before you can access Web Mail to send and receive your email, you need
to set up email accounts in your Control Panel, using the Mail Manager,
please see the Control Panel Manual for instructions on setting up email
accounts.
Once you have your email account set up, go to http://www.domain.com/webmail
(substitute domain.com with whatever your domain name is).
Login using the email Username and Password that you set up in your Mail
Manager.
When you log in for the first time, it will ask you to enter the name
you'd like to appear when you send our email. Enter that name, and save
the changes. You're all set.
How long will my mail stay on the server and be accessible through webmail?
As long as you do not download you email to your desktop computer using
a mail client or exceed your storage capacity your mail will stay on the
Burningbulb server for the length of your contract.
If I also use a mail program on my computer like Outlook will my mal stay
on the server?
Your mail will only be accessible on the server if you do not download
it to your computer using a mail program like Outlook. All mail you have
received since last checking your mail using a mail program will be on
the server until you download it. Therefore, if you want your email to
always be accessible via the internet its best to always check your mail
using WebMail.
Can
I view and send attachments through webmail?
Yes. WebMail is a fully functional online mail program.
What do I do if I forgot my webmail password?
If you forgot your email password login to your control panel. Click on
the "mail manager" icon and select the email address in question.
After selecting the desired email address change the password to something
you can remember.
Can I format the way my name appears on outgoing
mail when I use webmail?
When you first configure your WebMail account it will ask you to specify
the name that appears on the account. This is the only time you will be
able to modify this information.
